James 1:26-27
Children of God will be known by their mouths, ministry, & morals.
James warns believers to avoid focusing on the religious acts that they think make them acceptable to God and to focus on Christ changing them from the inside out. James then lists three tell-tale signs of genuine belief; controlled words, compassionate hearts, and consecrated lives. These actions do not come natural, but they flow from a life that os surrendered to the Lord.
