Who do you say that Jesus is?
This question has been asked by people for centuries, and it is a question holds all the weight in the world. Who is Jesus? There are so many possible responses to this question. Even if you just look at the responses of those who interacted with Jesus while He was on earth, you can see what I am talking about.
Some people said that Jesus was God, but others said that He is empowered by Satan.
Some claimed that Jesus was a good teacher, others called Him a liar.
Some called Him wise, others called him crazy.
Some called Him a prophet, others called him a blasphemer.
The question of “Who is Jesus?” still reigns as the most important question that we can wrestle with in our life. This is a life and death matter. How you answer this question determines everything.
The author of Hebrews gives one the of best summaries in scripture of who Jesus is.
Hebrews 1:3 - He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,”
