Mark Overview

Every generation paints its own portrait of Jesus—gentle teacher, moral example, cultural symbol, revolutionary voice. But the Gospel of Mark doesn’t give us a customizable Christ. It reveals the real One.

Mark shows us Jesus as the Son with divine authority, the Servant who gives His life as a ransom, and the King who reigns through the cross and the empty tomb. He is not just inspiring—He is sovereign. Not just loving—He is Lord.

So the question isn’t which version of Jesus we prefer.

But instead, “Who do you believe that He is?”
