The lessons continue at the makeshift amphitheater on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Jesus speaks in parables that both reveal and conceal the mysteries of God’s Kingdom. After explaining how the gospel takes root in the lives of true believers (parable of the sower), Jesus now begins to share the power of God’s reign through the unstoppable growth of the Kingdom.
