John 19:16-30
A King Like No Other -- In John 18–19, everything looks backwards.
The King is arrested.
The innocent is condemned.
The One with all authority stands silent before earthly power.
But this is not weakness—it’s purpose.
Jesus is not losing a kingdom. He is establishing one.
Not through force, but through sacrifice.
Not by taking lives, but by laying down His own.
“It is finished.”
And when the stone is rolled away, it becomes clear that
the cross was not the end. It was the victory.
This is the King who died for you and now lives to save you.
