How do you love someone who has different personal convictions than you?
When believers experience the grace of God in salvation, it allows them to grow in grace toward others. People often tend to place their laws and preferences upon others, expecting those to be followed. Paul demonstrates how the mature believer can show grace as the less mature believer follows their personal convictions.
