Matthew 5:9-13

Praying like Jesus is not about the words, but about the heart. Jesus gave His disciples "The Lord’s Prayer" to help them create a pattern that reorders our hearts. When our prayers are first focused on God: His name, His kingdom, His will, then our requests can be brought to Him properly: provision, forgiveness, and deliverance. For Jesus, prayer must flow from a heart that is correctly focused on God.
