Introduction to Parables: The Parable of the Sower - June 8, 2025

Matthew 13:1-23

Jesus is in the final stages of discipleship before His arrest and eventual sacrifice on the cross. The next several chapters of Matthew are stuffed full of His teaching to the crowds who have gathered, as well as some intimate lessons with the disciples. The parables are some of the most well-known stories in literature. In this parable Jesus teaches about the heart and how it reacts to the word of the Kingdom.
