Prayer is essential for the church, but God cares most about the heart behind it. In 1 Timothy 2:8-15, Paul reminds Timothy that outward actions—what we do, wear, or how we appear—are not enough. True godliness flows from the inside out: men called to holiness, women to godliness with good works, all rooted in God’s design and the Gospel.
