Finding Rest in What Jesus Can Do - April 27, 2025

Matthew 11:28-30

"For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:30

In the Christian life, our restlessness is directly attached to our prayerlessness. We are weary because we try to rely on ourselves and our power instead of God and His. Jesus' yoke is "easy" because He works with and for us. God wants us to rely on Him in prayer and let Him do the work. Jesus in Mark 11 says that the church's work is prayer: "Let My house be called a 'House of Prayer'."
