How Godliness in the Family of God Proclaims the Gospel of God

God designed His church to stand strong and stand out—to hold up truth in a world of lies (1 Timothy 3:15). Not only does our godlieness toward the world show God's love, but also does our godliness toward each other in the body of Christ.

In 1 Timothy 5:1-6:2, Paul gives clear instructions on how to care for (honor) three distinct groups of people in the body of Christ. These three examples teach us how the love of God honors and cares for all people, even those we often overlook.
